Ontario CAAT Chapter Launched
A new Provincial Chapter of CAAT is now up and running.
The Ontario Chapter will be responsible for Spay and Neuter Projects (SNP) in Ontario and Nunavut. The co-ordinators for the Chapter, Annette Pecak and Chris Robinson, have been heavily involved in the organization of the upcoming SNP to Igloolik, Nunavut. The two will be part of that SNP team to learn the intricacies of a mission, and use the expertise they gain on their first SNP to Summer Beaver, Ont. in August, 2007. They are currently recruiting members and collecting donations of supplies and equipment, as well as organizing fundraisers for the team.
DVMs, Techs and Assistants interested in joining the Ontario Chapter: visit www.caat-canada.org and fill out the online application form. The Ontario coordinators will contact you once you have completed the registration process and will be able to give you more information about volunteering for future projects, fundraising events and supply acquisition.
For more information on the Ontario Chapter, please email caat.ontario@gmail.com, call 519-623-2070, or write to CAAT Ontario c/ 4411 King St. East, Kitchener, Ontario N2P 2G1
